i was maybe 14. i hated school and homework and never thought of reading. my moms boyfriend was always reading and had some stephen king books. i grabbed one one day and started reading it. it was The Tommyknockers, i didnt read the whole book but i started reading books after that. i stopped reading books in my early 20s
